opposite

These are from a folder of travel scans, it was before
digital cameras. I was in Japan in 1982, it was so
carefully tended, leaf by leaf, & a polar opposite to
the fantastic chaos of a Pushkar mela. My first one
was in 1971, again a few years later. I loved it.

edge

Today's random choice came from a folder of photos
I took in Australia. Most people live around the edge.

prince

Also from several years ago, using a photo of a
wonderfully handsome maharaja from long ago.
I wanted it to look like a postcard from the past.

patterns

2 patterns from earlier years at the computer,
when I was seduced by ever more complex detail
I could later make into mandalas.

postcards

2 beach postcards, where I've juxtaposed sand & sky photos.
If you know I've posted them before, send a comment.

08 trip

These are from Laos & Vietnam on a 2008 trip.
What will be interesting to me is whether I repeat
previous choices. Usually I like different images at
different times. Don't you?

semi retired

For April I'm planning to choose photos at random from
my files, I've some 500GB on 2 external hard drives.
So what you see each day will be from a different
folder- in this case scanned prints.
Left near Mt Warning, beach is Byron Bay.
(Having some computer problems/want more time on
other projects.)
