clear

The seagull was a separate shot, the sky was blue all over.
Sometimes I wake in the morning & don't remember
what day it is, or even where.. & who is this me??
It all streams back in pretty quickly, though.

scribble

A scribble of vine stems, on the way to the beach.
There's always something new to notice, isn't there?

playing

It's fun to just play, without an agenda, isn't it?
I love trees and it amuses me how their foliage
nearly always hides secret faces.

southwest

From Georgia O'Keeffe country. Had scanned them
years ago, but used filters (swear off them now,
or you'll regret it later).

sharp

This is what I meant about the different persona
of some trees.. though it's more that straight
sharp lines give a harder design, I think.

b/w

Have tried to get a bit more out of these; only have tiny
contact prints, even their surface has begun to crack.
Scanning at 1200 dpi means I can enlarge them,
but lots of unwanted detail.

They date from a trip across to Ladahk from Srinagar.
By bus, in the early 70's. Also a week on the Jhelum river.
