The seagull was a separate shot, the sky was blue all over. Sometimes I wake in the morning & don't remember what day it is, or even where.. & who is this me?? It all streams back in pretty quickly, though.
Have tried to get a bit more out of these; only have tiny contact prints, even their surface has begun to crack. Scanning at 1200 dpi means I can enlarge them, but lots of unwanted detail.
They date from a trip across to Ladahk from Srinagar. By bus, in the early 70's. Also a week on the Jhelum river.
For many years I travelled the world painting, then exhibiting;
working as either Ann or Anie Williams my book illustrations include Images from the I Ching; both editions of A Recipe for Dreaming, and The Family Frying Pan written by Bryce Courtenay (Penguin);
and Burning Questions with Isaac Shapiro (shantipress.blogspot.com.au)
Many of my images are available as limited edition prints -
email me for details.
I love taking photographs
& like my pictures to reflect the deep interest in who we are, really.
