Yes, it looks like I've come to the end of this blog,

also enjoying to see what happens next,

rather than try to decide: just to see 

what I find myself doing.

The infinitely variable decoration on Thai wats

looks to be such a joy to the artisans.

Playing with several versions of the same

subject, where I took streaky shots as well

as in focus. Sometimes it feels so still, 

at others its as if the statues wait for a blink

to shift slightly.

A large tree in Ballina, this (wet) week

They look like two separate shells, but I always

find them together. 

They were all in a box ~  had planned to paint them.
Really should throw some stuff away..

Found the dragonfly in my garden & the stones at

a beach, they appear to be fossilised wood.

A shadow that only appears for a minute at a certain time of year, 

on an inside wall, through the trees at the back of my place.

One face is very clear, no?

Still working on this new painting, the weather has

turned cold after all the rain, that helps

Somehow it reminds me of this piece of abstract art

I shot at a building site, it was gone next day.

But to make a painting look 'real' is a different process.

What is spontaneous: the figures that are appearing.

Went to Boulder Beach, surf still big

exhilarating & dramatic

plus the surf muffled rattle of a million stones

Because of the sound of the sea, I'm awake at dawn,

when I go there, so I saw the heavy sea mist

& how the first touches of colour are washed

onto the day.

The floods have been drastic for many people, 

& their property, unfortunately.
