Have been going through old travel photos to find
certain files. Realised I could get more out of some
that appeared nearly black a few years ago, due to very
dim interiors (or carelessness)
Above are bits of gold leaf on a battered ground
Around some altars in Laos are these ornate frames,
there doesn't seem to be much interest in restoring,
or maybe not enough donations, but that also means
the skills remain alive.
