The ubiquitous symbol: the leaves of the bodhi tree. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche always comes to mind when I see a bodhi tree (I first saw him sitting beneath the one in Bodh Gaya). Here is the essence of his teaching.
For many years I travelled the world painting, then exhibiting;
working as either Ann or Anie Williams my book illustrations include Images from the I Ching; both editions of A Recipe for Dreaming, and The Family Frying Pan written by Bryce Courtenay (Penguin);
and Burning Questions with Isaac Shapiro (shantipress.blogspot.com.au)
Many of my images are available as limited edition prints -
email me for details.
I love taking photographs
& like my pictures to reflect the deep interest in who we are, really.
