Found that with some distance, the first days photos
from my Burma trip looked better than I'd thought. Chose
gold ones for next few days. The dragon is from KL, the other
creatures can be found at Shwedagon pagoda in Yangon.

They didn't feel scary to me, there is something amusing about many ~ & I think they are similar to guardians, as in Tibetan buddhism.
The Nats (spirits) are something else, though in earlier times the kings included some of the Hindu gods as Nats, in fact there's a building where the king attempted to lock them away.
