Imagine the kinds of dreams you might have
in a cave room 7 floors underground, where for centuries
people had hidden during times of invasion.
In the city, the old trees looked down on us, the new invaders.
WOW!!! That is Turkey??? Maybe some day people again will survive, just a fgew, when disaster strikes. One day they come up into the light and find a new flourishing world!
Times must have been very hard then, to dig whole underground cities with no power tools, some of the rock is soft, but only relatively. You'd love Cappadocia. xx
For many years I travelled the world painting, then exhibiting;
working as either Ann or Anie Williams my book illustrations include Images from the I Ching; both editions of A Recipe for Dreaming, and The Family Frying Pan written by Bryce Courtenay (Penguin);
and Burning Questions with Isaac Shapiro (shantipress.blogspot.com.au)
Many of my images are available as limited edition prints -
email me for details.
I love taking photographs
& like my pictures to reflect the deep interest in who we are, really.
