About 1982 I went to China, from Hong Kong: to Guilin, Chungking & then down the Yangtze to Shanghai. Travelling alone was a challenge. It was always hazy, very hot & very crowded. Loved the river. Photos of Shanghai, now, look impossibly different.
For many years I travelled the world painting, then exhibiting;
working as either Ann or Anie Williams my book illustrations include Images from the I Ching; both editions of A Recipe for Dreaming, and The Family Frying Pan written by Bryce Courtenay (Penguin);
and Burning Questions with Isaac Shapiro (shantipress.blogspot.com.au)
Many of my images are available as limited edition prints -
email me for details.
I love taking photographs
& like my pictures to reflect the deep interest in who we are, really.
