Today I thought this painting was completed, but a
photograph shows that it isnt.
Not quite sure how that works, I suppose its like the
Indian rope trick: the first photos showed a crowd
gazing upward, the rope on the ground..
The camera doesn't come with all my baggage,
though it does matter how we are with the subject
& the camera, wouldn't you say?
For many years I travelled the world painting, then exhibiting;
working as either Ann or Anie Williams my book illustrations include Images from the I Ching; both editions of A Recipe for Dreaming, and The Family Frying Pan written by Bryce Courtenay (Penguin);
and Burning Questions with Isaac Shapiro (shantipress.blogspot.com.au)
Many of my images are available as limited edition prints -
email me for details.
I love taking photographs
& like my pictures to reflect the deep interest in who we are, really.
