The beach today was just perfect, lapping softly to the edge, then a few small rolling waves, then calm again. Another couple of hundred shots, got some really good ones, my finger was in tune. & it was quiet.

The warmth - the bright light - the salt tang in the air - the tingle on the toes from the water and the wet sand - the profound sense of peace when the always restive ocean is stilled to a spaced set of waves gently drifting to shore.
